Tinubu Wins Zamfara

The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has won Zamfara State, defeating his major contenders in Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

It was reported that Tinubu won after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the results from the 14 local government areas of the state among which APC won 12 while PDP claimed the remaining two.

Tinubu polled 298,396 votes while Mr Atiku polled 193,978 votes.

Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 4,044 votes while Peter Obi of the Labour Party polled 1,660.
