Toro LG Boss Emerges Bauchi ALGON Chairman 

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Toro local government, Danalami Tashan-Durumi, has emerged as the new chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Bauchi Chapter. 

Speaking shortly after he was declared the winner of the election, Tashan-Durumi commended the caretaker committee chairmen for finding him worthy to lead the group.

He assured that he would remain focused on the execution of the people-oriented projects by the PDP-led administration of Governor Bala Mohammed in the state.

He reaffirmed the loyalty of the Caretaker Committee Chairmen to the governor and the party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and solicited the support of people at the grassroots to succeed in providing them with good governance.

Bauchi Gov Assigns Portfolios to Cabinet Members

The ALGON chairman announced the election of the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Jama’are Local Government Council, Inuwa Abdullahi, as the association’s PRO.

On his part, the association’s PRO, Abdullahi, promised that the caretaker committee chairmen would work together to provide better services to people in their respective local governments with the support of the state government.

Also, the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of Alkaleri, Dambam, and Gamawa has been elected as vice chairmen of the South, Central, and North zones, respectively.
