A trailer en route from Diko in Gurara local council in Niger State to Zuba in Abuja lost control and crushed a female pedestrian to death at Mobil Junction, Suleja.
Kumar Tsukwam, Niger State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), disclosed this, adding two other people sustained severe injuries.
The sector commander said the woman gave up in the hospital. While a female child and male child who sustained injuries are undergoing treatment at General Hospital Suleja.

“One female who sustained a high degree of injuries gave up in the hospital,” said Tsukwam. “Other victims sustained fractures. The accident involved two trailers and the possible cause was overspeeding and loss of control.”
The sector commander appealed to authorities to construct a flyover bridge at Madalla Mobil Junction to link Zuma Rock and Zuba. This, he believes, will reduce further similar incidences.
