UPDATED: Moon Sighted, Fasting Begins Tomorrow

The crescent moon of Ramadan has been sighted and Muslim faithfuls are expected to start testing tomorrow.

Arab News Pakistan reports that tomorrow will be the first day of Ramadan in Pakistan. This, it said was announced by the country’s moon sighting committee on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III also declared Thursday as the commencement day of Ramadan fast, according to a tweet by National Moonsighting Commitee Nigeria.
