The vigilante operatives have killed three suspected kidnappers in Ngaski Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The operatives of the group reportedly invaded the hideout of the criminals and achieved their success after an informant took the vigilant officers to their hideout
The operation, according to the Director of Security Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi Abdulrahman Usman during a press briefing on Friday, explained that the success was recorded by credible intelligence
“Following the intelligence information which led to the arrest of the bandits’ informant, he agreed to take members of the vigilante group to where they were hiding in the forest. They were killed during an exchange of gunfire with the vigilante members.”
While providing further details on the operation, Abdulrahman stated that the vigilantes had spent the whole night in the forest and started their operation in the morning
He expressed joy over the success of the operation “We are happy the vigilantes came back home safely without sustaining any injury,” he said
