Kwara United men’s volleyball club trounced Caliphate Spikers of Sokoto by 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-21), on Monday, as the National Volleyball Division 1 tournament got underway at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
In the second match of the day, Katsina United came from behind to defeat Oyo state 3-1. (19-25, 25-18, 25-18,25-20) in the tournament that is featuring 10 teams comprising eight male and two female clubs.
