Bauchi State Ministry for Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs has reduced its expenditure by limiting the number of workshops and seminars to be attended by staff.
The Commissioner of the Ministry Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki gave this indication while interacting with reporters in Bauchi.
Nuhu Zaki maintained that the Ministry had inherited a debt profile of three billion Naira with eighteen percent interest, hence the need to cut of the expenses.
He said the ministry had procured motorcycles vehicles and other facilities for security agents to enhance security across the state.
