A support group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) called the National Democratic Frontier Movement (NDFM) has said the party will win more states in the 2023 general elections because of the “sterling performance” of its governors in their respective states.
The national leader of the movement, Mr. Fortune Oyadonghan, who stated this yesterday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, during a meeting with members of the state chapter, said they were satisfied with the trend of development recorded in the PDP controlled states.
He expressed optimism that the party would win more states than it did in 2019 because the governors on its platform were the “shining light.”
The group appealed to Nigerians to vote out the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 and bring the PDP back to power.
Also speaking, the state coordinator of the group, Mr. Amos Bolous, said with the level of grassroots mobilisation, there were high hopes that the PDP would reclaim power in 2023.
