Biba Mohammed, a housewife in Gombe State has reportedly killed her husband, the Gombe Police Command said.
The woman, according to the command’s spokesman, Mahid Abubakar, killed her husband, Mohammed Maliki, at Barunde quarters where they live.
The police spokesman said a resident in the area contacted the police after the incident.

Abubakar noted that upon arrival at the scene, the husband was unconscious, adding the suspect confessed to the crime.
“Following a preliminary investigation, Biba Mohammed, the wife of the deceased, was taken into custody after confessing to the crime.
“In her statement, she admitted to using a pestle to strike his head. The case is currently under investigation at SCID and will be presented in court for prosecution upon the conclusion of the investigation,” he stated.
The police spokesman noted that the police made an effort and rushed the victim to the specialist hospital but he was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
