Wikki Tourists Fall 1-2 To Visiting Enyimba For 4th Straight Loss

Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi on Wednesday lost 1-2 to visiting Enyimba International FC of Aba at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS) in Bauchi.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the loss meant Wikki Tourists have lost four straight matches in the ongoing 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

In this Match Day 23 fixture, Reuben Bala had opened scores for Enyimba after 16 minutes, while WIkki equalised in the 38th minute.

Enyimba went on to score their second goal in the 67th minute of the match through Tosin Omoleye.

Head Coach of Enyimba International, Fatai Osho, in a post-match interview said it was a tough match which got them points.

He said the match was too tight, and the Wikki Tourists players made a tremendous effort to win at home.

“But it wasn’t possible because of the good fight my boys put in place.”

All efforts to get the reaction of the acting coach of Wikki Tourists, Baba Jibrin, failed as several of the club’s fans were angrily looking for him.(NAN)
