Katsina State government and its 34 Local Government Areas (LGAs) received a combined net allocation of ₦58,788,367,936.34 for January and February 2025, WikkiTimes can reports.
WikkiTimes’ analysis of BudgIT’s monthly publication of the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) disbursement showed that the 34 LGAs got the sum of ₦ 29,914,618,281.05 for the two months.
In January, the LGAs received the sum of ₦13,623,054,436.27 while they got a combined sum of ₦16,291,563,844.78 as allocations in February.
The data further revealed that the state government earned a total of ₦28,873,749,655.29 for the time. It got ₦12,945,075,219.22 in January and in February, ₦15,928,674,436.07.
Katsina LGA topped allocations in February with ₦637,071,174.83, up from ₦532.8 million in January.
