WikkiTimes’ choice of partnering with Vision FM was rooted in the station’s wide coverage and its reach to the grassroots dwellers.

“The idea of the partnership is to strengthen the course of accountability and critical journalism because we believe that when we work with others, the chances of holding power to account and advancing democracy is highly likely”, said Haruna Mohammed. WikkiTimes’ publisher.

The publisher opined that critical accountability journalism requires partnerships and collaboration; “Because we don’t just want to publish our stories and go home to sleep or wait for the next story; we want everyone involved including other sister media organizations.

“When all of us get involved, we will advance checks and balances in our systems and propel development.

“We have to ensure there is an impact of what we do by collaborating with others and also getting our stories amplified,” he added.
