World-renowned executive trainer, Professor Rodria Laline, would on Wednesday open a two-day programme on the challenges of modern-day organisations in the digital world for top Nigerian managers in public and private sectors.
Laline, Visiting Professor of Harvard and Chair of Intrabond Capital, would coach the Nigerian executives on Designing a Flexible Organisation and Engaging Innovative Ideas for a Competitive Edge.
A statement by Caroline Lucas, Director of Texem, the UK-based leading executive education firm coordinating the programme, said participants would be trained on how to align strategy, innovation and leadership.
“The role of the strategic leader that is innovative and agile cannot be overemphasised for success in a fast-paced and challenging operating context such as that of Nigeria,” the statement said.
Through the use of case studies and group discussions, executives would learn how to build resilience, outperform the competition, resolve leadership crisis and do more with less, among others.
The statement said Texem UK brought the training programme to Nigeria at this time to help organizations to address some of the contextual challenges facing the country.
It said that the programme had been explicitly crafted to help participants not only to learn how to unlock new resources but also aptly harness what they require to excel in the fast-paced data-driven global marketplace.
Laline was, among others, the co-founder of the Global Chipcard Alliance and board member of the Open Software Foundation and developed the intellectual property that is used in every ATM card globally. (NAN)
