The state assembly elections were held in 3,933 polling units and 203 wards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Governorship elections did not hold in eight states, including Ondo, where the incumbent governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, is expected to complete his second term in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ALSO READ<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/wikkitimes.com\/bauchi-gov-floors-dogara-in-bogoro\/\">Bauchi Gov Floors Dogara in Bogoro<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four incumbent members lost their re-election bids, including PDP\u2019s Tomide Akinribido (Ondo West), African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate Favour Tomomewo (Ilaje 2), APC\u2019s Taofeeq Muhammed (Akoko Northwest 2), and Toluwani Borokini of the APC (Akure South 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the 10th Ondo house of assembly will include three female lawmakers as female APC candidates won in Owo 1, Idanre, and Ilaje 2 constituencies.
