On Sunday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the majority of seats in the Ondo state house of assembly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Out of the 26 constituencies, the APC won 22 while the remaining four seats were won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The state assembly elections were held in 3,933 polling units and 203 wards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Governorship elections did not hold in eight states, including Ondo, where the incumbent governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, is expected to complete his second term in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
