The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the service period of three members who served in Sokoto State for absconding and misconduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NYSC Coordinator in the state, Alhaji Usman Yakubu-Yaro, disclosed this while issuing certificates to the 2023 Batch \u2018A\u2019 Stream 2 youth corps members on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
News Agency of Nigeria reports that Yakubu-Yaro said NYSC has zero tolerance for truancy, and would not hesitate to punish erring youth corps members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that out of 618 youth corps members who completed the one-year mandatory service, 351 were males,
while 267 were females, who displayed commendable character during the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
