The Bauchi State House of Assembly has on Wednesday askedGovernor Bala Mohammed of the state to construct Nasaru to Gwam and Balma to
Arinja roads in order to link the communities with Ningi-Burra road in NingiLocal Government Area.In a statement made available to newsmen through hisspokesperson Abdul Burra, the Speaker of the state’s Assembly Abubakar Suleimanin a motion he personally moved, urged the Executive arm to construct the road.
The Speaker noted that communities of Nasaru, Balma, Gwam,Arinja and many others in his constituency are suffering due to lack ofaccessible road network.
He described the roads as nightmares to the affectedcommunities, adding that they were hindering national growth and development.
The Speaker commended Governor Bala Mohammad for hiscommitment in bringing direct life-touching programmes towards the bettermentof the people of Bauchi State by giving emphasis on the rural development.
