The Federal Government has approved the upgrade of Federal Medical Center Yola to the status of a teaching hospital.
WikkiTimes gathered that under the new arrangement, the hospital will be known as Moddibo Adama University Teaching Hospital. The teaching hospital will offer medical related courses to students.
The approval is sequel to the demands made by the people of Adamawa State in order to enhance the training of medical students as well as boost health care service delivery in the state.
