The Bauchi State Government has submitted the names of three nominees for confirmation as commissioners in the State Executive Council.
The nominations were conveyed in a letter dated 7th August 2023, addressed to the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly by the Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim.
The nominees includes Engr. Mohammed Binni Abdulkadir from Itas Gadau Local Government, nominated to replace Hon. Hajara Jibrin Gidado, who recently resigned.
Hon. Sani Mohammed Dambam from Dambam Local Government, nominated to replace the late Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Jalam and Hon. Zainab Baban Takko from Bauchi Local Government, nominated to replace Hon. Mahmoud Babamaji, who also recently resigned.
The letter emphasized that the curriculum vitae of the nominees were attached for the Assembly’s consideration.
The nominations are expected to fill the vacant positions in the State Executive Council to ensure continuity in governance.
The Secretary to the State Government, in his letter, expressed the Executive Governor’s warm greetings and requested the Honourable House to expedite the confirmation process.
