Saudi Arabia has announced that Saturday, March 1, 2025, will be the first day of Ramadan following the sighting of the crescent moon in the country.
Haramain made this known in a post on X, saying that the Holy month of fasting shall commence for the Muslim faithful.
It read: “The crescent moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Ramadhān 1446 will begin tonight.
“May Allāh ﷻ accept our siyām, qiyām & acts of worship, and may He grant us the ability to utilise the precious moments of this Blessed month to engage in that which pleases Him. Aameen.”
