The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has unveiled its line-up of panelists for the 2025 annual conference scheduled to hold on October 9 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The panel session will be anchored on the theme: “Reconciling Campaign Promises with Governance Realities: Challenges and Prospects.”
According to a statement by GOCOP’s Publicity Secretary, Ogbuefi Remmy Nweke, the panel will feature Samuel Ortom, former governor of Benue State; Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA); Prof. Abiodun Adeniyi, Registrar of Baze University, Abuja; and Prof. Abigail Ogwezzy-Ndisika, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education at the University of Lagos.
Mr Nweke recalled that the conference’s keynote speaker had earlier been announced as Aminu Bello Masari, former Speaker of the House of Representatives and immediate past governor of Katsina State.
The conference is expected to bring together policymakers, academics, media professionals, and civil society actors to interrogate the gap between political promises and governance realities in Nigeria.
