Abubakar Tatari Ali polytechnicATAP has assured the National Universities Commission NUC of its readiness to
fulfill all requirements and abide by laid down guidelines to attain fullaccreditation of its degree programmes.The Rector of the institution Dr SulaimanMuhammad Lame stated this at the commencement of accreditation exercise fordegree programmes affiliated to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University ATBU Bauchi.
Dr Sulaiman Lame who said thepolytechnic has all the facilities and personnel required for fullaccreditation, promised accept the outcome of the exercise.
He called on the accreditationteam to be just and fair in the discharge of its duty for the development ofeducation in the country.
Responding, Chairman of thecomittee Professor Emmanuel Onibere said the team was at the institution toinspect facilities put in place for commencement of affiliated degreeprogrammes.
Professor Emmanuel Onibere whosaid the exercise is not meant to witchhunt anybody, called for maximumcooperation from the institution.
He thanked the polytechnicmanagement for the warm reception and hospitalityaccorded them.
The Degree programmes expected tobe accredited by the NUC team include Building technology education, businesseducation, accountancy, woodwork, electrical electronics education, automobiletechnology and computer science education among others.
