Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Dangaladiman Ningi) has charge APC flag-bearers that lost out in the 2019 general elections to be stronger despite losing election.
According to a statement from the spokesperson to the speaker, Comrade Abdul Burra, the speaker gave the charge when he received in audience, members of Coalition of APC 2019 Flag-bearers in Bauchi State who paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Thursday.
The Speaker who said he was full of joy to receive his associates and party men advised them to take solace and see their lost of the elections as the will of Allah Who bestow power to anybody He wishes at the time He wishes
“I encourage you to keep the spirit and continue with the political struggle until victory is attained, one day.” He said.
Rt. Abubakar Suleiman said the 21 APC members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly are the pillars of APC in Bauchi State and they are doing everything possible to ensure the unity and cooperation of the party in Bauchi State.
He commended the Coalition for the brotherly visit which he described as morale boaster to all APC lawmakers in the State.
Also Speaking, Majority Leader of the Assembly Hon. Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu commended the the flag-bearers for coming together to form the Coalition which he said will resuscitate the party and foster unity among members.
He added that the formation of such coalition will prove those who think APC is dead in Bauchi State wrong.
The Leader assured the Coalition that APC lawmakers in the Assembly are solidly behind them and will render all contributions for the progress of the party.
Earlier speaking, the Chairman of the Coalition Comrade Sabo Muhammad said the aim of the visit was to interact with APC lawmakers in the State’s Legislative Arm, congratulate them for their election victory as well as encourage them to intensify efforts for the progress of the party and development of Bauchi State as contained in the manifesto of the party
He explained that after they lost 2019 elections, they submitted everything to Almighty Allah and decided to come together and form the Coalition for the progress of their party.
Comrade Sabo further said that there is urgent need for the APC lawmakers, being the leaders of the party in the State, to unite all members of the party so as to promote the party which he said is not an opposition party at the national level and at both state and federal legislative arm.
The Coalition Chairman urged the APC lawmakers to strategize in order to end the lingering misunderstandings in the party because the party faithfuls believe in their leadership and capacity to restore the fortunes of the party.
He assured the lawmakers of their readiness to work with them in order to ensure the progress and lasting peace in the party
