Our correspondent who monitored the conduct of the elections reports that the over 1,000 votes scored by the PDP were in addition to the 4, 000 votes the party scored ahead of the ruling APC.

However the results of Tafawa Balewa local government area were still withheld following an exparte order secured by the APC that restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission from collating and announcing the council’s results.

WikkiTimes reports that the APC had filed and obtained an interim court order which bars INEC from continuing the collation and announcement.

The matter will be laid to rest on Monday, March 25th when court offers judgment.
