A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has sacked Prof. Sani Malumfashi as the Chairman of the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) for being affiliated with a political party.
WikkiTimes learned that Justice Simon Amobeda gave the ruling on Tuesday, in a matter Instituted by one Aminu Aliyu Tiga and the All Progressive Congress (APC) Kano State chapter.
WikkiTimes reports earlier that the opposition APC had instituted legal action against the electoral body for pegging 10 million naira and five million naira as fees for chairmanship and councillorship seat in the forthcoming local government election.
