Bauchi State Government has suspended three government officials for alleged forgery and misappropriation.
The suspended officials are Yakubu Muhammad, a chief accountant in the state Ministry of Health; Surajo Shehu Ilelah, a principal executive officer in the State Treasury Department and Umar Muhammad Misau, an acting assistant chief administrative officer in the Establishment and Servicom Matters Bureau.
Misau has been sacked from acting appointment pending the completion of further investigation.
WikkiTimes gathered that forgery and misappropriation are contrary to the provisions of Public Service Regulations 0327 (a) and (b) respectively.

The information officer of Bauchi State Civil Service Commission, Saleh Umar disclosed this in a statement made available to reporters in Bauchi on Wednesday.
He said the suspension was deliberated on and approved during the Commission’s 21st plenary session.
On the other hand, Umar said the commission also considered and approved the appointment of 4 Acting Directors, 2 Acting Deputy Directors of Administration and Human Resource accordingly.
