The Plateau State governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Jos the Plateau State Capital on Wednesday upholds the victory of Governor Simon Lalong of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Senator Jeremiah Timbut Useni, had filed a petition against Lalong in the March governorship election in the state.
Useni and his party, the PDP, had challenged the declaration of Lalong by INEC as winner of the March governorship election in state.
Justice Halima Saeelman, the tribunal’s chairman delivered a unanimous judgement on Wednesday holding the election of Simon Bako Lalong as duly elected governor of Plateau State.
