Using Fake Contract Deal, Nigerian Man Swindles American Lover Out of $200,000

Chidozie Kingsley Nwachi, a Nigerian man has allegedly swindled his American lover, Nicole Kierulff Sayers out of $200,000.

Otherwise known as Dozie, the Nigerian had forged some documents to claim he had been contracted by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Abuja.   

He allegedly made his American lover finance the execution of the contract until she later contacted the ministry with the contract papers and discovered that they were fake.

Sayers explained that she has been suicidal since the time she realized Dozie defrauded her when she was financially bankrupt.

She added that she was accustomed to transferring money to Dozie but later felt sceptical following the his dubious behaviours at the time when she had no alternative.

“I was accustomed to transferring money to him and further felt I had no choice,  since I had just married him,  even though I did not feel confident in my choice to have married him,” she explained.

Dozie would be arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives in Abuja on Wednesday, February 15, based on the victim’s claims.

Items recovered from the suspect include two cars: a Toyota Venza and Lexus ES300, expensive wristwatches, two Apple iPhones, two iPhone laptops, an international passport and multiple Automated Teller Machines (ATM) cards and a sum of $2204.

The commission stated that as soon as investigations are concluded, Dozie will be charged in court to face the justice.
