Calls for Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu, former Bauchi State Governor, to contest for Nigeria’s Presidency in 2023 are gaining momentum, especially in his home state of Bauchi state.

Halliru Khalifa said this when speaking to Globe FM Bauchi on Tuesday, Halliru Khalifa Maiwalda a resident of Bauchi mentioned some qualities the former PDP Chairman possesses which he said distinguished him from other aspirants.

“Due to the security situation in the country, he should contest. Muazu is a compassionate leader to both Muslims and Christians alike and even the Pegan.

“In fact, when there was a crisis in Plateau state, he went and helped both Muslims and Christians, evacuating corpses from one corner to another, weeping. This is a type of leader Nigeria needs. I hope he will accept to contest and people will support him,” he explained.

He said Alhaji Muazu is a workable leader that can help to salvage Nigeria from the challenges it faces, adding that he is the best Governor Bauchi State ever had.

He however called on people to desist from hate and abusive statements against leaders but vote for leaders based on the records of the developmental projects they implemented.
