An Abuja based Organization, Lautech Solutions Limited has donated hospital equipment worth over 250 million naira to Bauchi state Government.
Receiving the state’s government officials Tuesday in his office in Abuja, the Chairman of the Organization, Alhaji Hussaini Bokane said the gesture is to compliment the efforts of the state governor at ensuring effective provision of healthcare services to the people of the state.
Alhaji Bokane said the donation will no doubt assist Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to address some of the challenges facing the state’s health care sector.
He said the organization resolved to support states governors to improve the standard of health in their respective states for the well being of their people.
The chairman, who appealed for judicious utilization of the donated commodities, applauded a chieftain of PDP in the state, Alhaji Sanin Malam for facilitating the donation.
Alhaji Sanin Malam who led the delegation recalled that the organization had contributed immensely in supporting the state government through donations of various hospital commodities.
Malam who described the gesture as a welcome development, appealed to the state governor to consider the organization as partner in progress.
On his part, the Permanent Secretary, State Ministry of Health, Dr. Yahaya Yarima said the donated equipment would assist in addressing shortage of facilities in hospitals across the state.
The Permanent Secretary enjoined well to do individuals and corporate bodies to join hands in improving the healthcare sector for improved health care delivery in Nigeria.
