After WikkiTimes Story, Bauchi Govt Renovates Ingla Primary Health Center

Bauchi State government has renovated the abandoned primary healthcare at Ingila village of Warji Local government area, after a WikkiTimes story. The hospital was abandoned was left in ruins for years.

An estimated population of 7,000 people from different settlements in the area are benefiting from the services of the health center. 

Before the WikkiTimes story, the  people living in the community suffered while seeking for any health care services one must travel to Warji or Ningi distance Kilometers.

It could be recalled that this medium had on August 27, 2022, reported how Iginla primary healthcare center in Warji LGA was abandoned in shambles for nearly three years.

Our findings shows that the government through the ministry for local government and Chieftaincy affairs conducted a shoddy renovation.

One of the staff of the health center who appealed for anonymity, revealed that only the collapsed ruffings were fixed with substandard materials, but doors, the flooring and windows had not been fixed.

“We have only two hospital beds, one in the labor room and the other one in the patient ward, we cannot admit many patients here due to non functioning working equipment,” he said.

The source further said the shoddy renovation exercise was handled by the political ally of  Hon Abdulrazaka Nuhu Zaki while he was a Commissioner Ministry for local government and Chieftaincy affairs.
