Communities of Alkaleri LGA in Bauchi state have stressed the need for the next administration in the state to bring on board professionals, technocrats and bureaucrats that will justifiably and satisfactorily deliver the mandate of the people.
The communities who prayed that Bala Mohammed will eventually be declared governor elect, however advised him to discard sycophants, and praise-singers jostling to hijack the administration for their personal gains and interests.
Members of the communities led by a one-time commissioner of Information in the state, Bello Ahmed Arabi, said that the in-coming new administration should also set in motion machinery for re-engineering and re-positioning the use of public treasury.
Arabi, while commending INEC for sticking to the rules and guidelines for the conduct of elections, urged Bala Mohammed to recover all loots and abuses of public funds to restore public confidence and inspire diligence in the discharge of public trust.
He said, “We urge the in-coming Governor to remain resolute in the pursuit of this mandate. While coming on board, he is expected to demonstrate a clear departure from the incompetence posture of the out-going APC administration in the state”.
According to him, the enthusiasm of the people, the support of the electorate and the good-will from all well-meaning individuals from across the state are clear testimony and strong message that Senator Bala Mohammed will emerges as Governor at the right time in the history of the state.
Alhaji Bello Arabi expressed gratitude and appreciation to the communities, adding that Senator Bala Mohammed is a man of foresight, vision, and sense of responsibility who will work tirelessly to develop the state.
