Bauchi Gov Meets Namibian Ambassador, To Strengthen Ties On Tourism

The Bauchi State Government has resolved to fast forward her pace in wooing local and foreign investors that will improve the lots of the state in agriculture and tourism.

Senator Bala Abdukadir Mohammed, the Executive Governor of the state made the resolve Thursday in Abuja when he visited the Namibian Ambassador to Nigeria Mr. Humphrey Geiseb.

A release signed by Lawal Muazu Bauchi, new media aid to the governor indicates that Bala Mohammed extended an invitation to hand to the Namibian Ambassador to consolidate the booming bilateral ties between the state and the country.

The Governor further made case for the fertility of Bauchi soil and the place of agriculture and tourism for food security and economic buoyancy.

Responding, Mr Humphrey assured the governor that Namibia looks forward to collaborating with Bauchi State to enhance and expand the existing relationship particularly on tourism and agriculture.

He commended the Bauchi State Government’s efforts towards diversification of tourism and agriculture and promised that the Embassy will soon honour the governor’s invitation to the state.
