Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state has approved the appointment of Dr. Musa Mohammed Kirfi of the Federal University Kashere in Gombe state as his Principal Private Secretary.
A press release signed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, Comrade Muktar Gidado indicated that the appointment is with immediate effect.
Until his appointment as contained in the statement, the new appointee was an Associate Professor, Public Management, Federal University Kashere, Gombe state.
The statement said Dr Mohammed Kirfi who hailed from Kirfi Local Government Area of the state, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration both from University of Maiduguri as well as a PhD in management from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
The Principal Private Secretary a Researcher, Public Commentator and capacity building experts, started his academic working career at the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi before he later moved to Usman Danfodio University Sokoto and Federal University Kashere Gombe state respectively.
Dr Mohammed Kirfi was a member of the Academy of Management of Nigeria and a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration in addition to his journals on Intergovernmental Relations in Nigeria, Gender Mainstreaming and Human Capital Development among others.
