The Governorship election petition tribunal today adjourned the case filled by Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar against the election victory of Bala Mohammed Kauran Bauchi to 17 of June for hearing.
Justice Salisu Musa Shuaibu who presided over the tribunal, directed all the parties involved to prepare for the hearing during the rescheduled date.
It will be recalled that, Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar and the All Progressive Congress have filed a petition at the tribunal challenging the victory of Senator Bala Muhammad of the People’s Democratic Party in the just concluded 2019 governorship polls.
WikkiTimes report that the incumbent had earlier conceded defeat, congratulated Mr. Bala and pledged not to challenge the victory, but had a change of mind.
