The Bauchi State Government has approved the sum of N20 billion to construct two flyover bridges in the state capital.
Commissioner for Works and Transport in the state, Ibrahim Galadima, disclosed this during media briefing at the end of the state’s executive meeting held on Wednesday in Bauchi.
He said the project would help reduce traffic gridlock in the metropolis.
The WikkiTimes reports that the project was awarded to the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Limited.
The flyovers are expected to be constructed at the Wunti and Central Market roundabout, at the state capital.
