Bauchi group passes vote of confidence on Senator Bulkachuwa

A Bauchi based group known as Katagum Progressives Vanguard has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Senator Adamu Muhammad Bulkachuwa for his “unparalleled achievements in the national Assembly and state.”

The group in a press statement jointly signed by the Chairman  Bello Shehu Gololo, Secretary,  Nuruddeen Umar and Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Hadi Maibulangu, which was made available to WikkiTimes, stated that Senator Bulkachuwa has given a good representation at the National Assembly, saying that he has displayed “resilience, hard work and dedication.”

“It gives us great pleasure to extend our congratulations to Senator Bulkachuwa for his successful completion of one year in office. “As a leader, the Senator has a remarkable performance in infrastructural development as well as social investment”

The group said, “the Senator has sponsored and trained more than 250 youths in various skills acquisition and apprentice and poverty alleviation programme during the COVID-19 pandemic, sponsored scholarship for persons in tertiary institutions, provided writing and instructional materials to public primary schools, facilitated payment of hospital bills for patients and constructed over N200 million solar powered boreholes and hand pump boreholes in the state”

The group described the Senator as a man of “forthrightness, boldness and courage at the floor of the senate”, adding that he is a strong voice and pillar for all the North Eastern states.

The group says his pedigree necessitated the senate to assign him as Chairman, Senate standing committee on foreign affairs.

WikkiTimes recalls that the Bauchi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress had in a press conference at Azare on Tuesday suspended Adamu Mohammed Bulkachuwa, over what it called “aggressive behavior and non-performance”.

But the Katagum progressives’ vanguard refuted the claims, describing Mr Bulkachuwa as a hardworking senator.
