Joint operation comprising men of the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force are currently giving a chase to some walaying bandits who blocked the Sokoto-Gusau highway at Dogon Awo, along the Tureta-Bakura axis, WikkiTimes can report.
According to a discreet source, the operatives were fiercely engaging them while vehicular movement on the axis was grounded.
Meanwhile, troops of the Nigerian Army are combing terrorists’ hideouts in Galbi axis, a suburb of Kaduna State, according to Makama Zagazola, a security analyst familiar with the incident.
Zagazola stated that the locals around the communities, “clear road and filled potholes for the bandits in order to please them and make them happy.”
“Also Within an hour of leaving their outpost in the village of Galbi, while approaching the bandits’ enclaves, the soldiers intercepted radio chatter indicating the bandits and Boko Haram were monitoring their movements,” he added.
