Bye-election: Bauchi APC Hails Voters, Promises Fair Representation

The Bauchi state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed appreciation to the people of Dass local government for voting the candidate of the party Bala Lukshi in the last Saturday’s bye-election into the state house of assembly.


In a press statement signed by the state chairman of the APC Uba Nana issued to newsmen Monday, he opined that the election result has proved his party’s popularity.


“The people of the area have shown to the world that they love APC and believe in its manifestos.
“The results of the election has given the party confidence that people are satisfied with the representation of our law makers who are the majority in the state assembly”. He said.
Nana also thanked all party stakeholders in the state who contributed towards the victory their candidate in the election and assured the people of Bauchi state that they would justify the confidence reposed in the party.


APC candidate polled 12, 299 while his closest rival of the PDP scored 11, 062 votes.
Our correspondents reports that APC has 21 out of the 31 members of the state house of assembly.
