Family offers N2 million reward for information on kidnapped Bauchi Gov’s brother

The family of the kidnapped brother to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has offered N2 million as compensation for any useful information that could expose the whereabouts of his abductors and lead to his safe return.

WikkiTimes reports that Adamu Duguri, fondly addressed as Yaya Adamu, the elder brother to governor Bala Mohammed was kidnapped by unknown gunmen at Anguwar Jaki, in Bauchi metropolis few hours after the governor tested positive for coronavirus.

His whereabouts is still unknown and his abductors yet to contact the family for any ransom request.

The Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Mukhtar Gidado announced the reward information in press statement in the late hours of Sunday.

The release says the sum of N2 Million will be offered to whoever provides useful information that will lead to his safe return.
