Police operatives in the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) have arrested a notorious kidnapping kingpin Sama’ila Wakili Fafa popularly known as Abu Ibrahim, a few months after a twenty million naira was placed on him.
Abu Ibrahim, the bandit kingpin terrorizing Abuja and Nasarawa state residents was arrested along Saudana Toto forest along Abuja-Nasarawa express road, in Nasarawa state by police operatives when they stormed the forest.
Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer while parading the suspect alongside others in Abuja, said Abu Ibrahim has confessed to be the mastermind of many cases of abduction and killing of their of the targets within the FCT and its environs.
“Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory Command on February 24, 2024 acting on credible intelligence stormed Sadauna Toto forest and arrested one Samaila Fafa aka Abu Ibrahim. The kidnap is on the command wanted list and has a bounty placed on him by the Honourable Minister of Federal Capital Territory”, said Adejobi.
According to the police spokesman, Abu Ibrahim has claimed that himself and his boys were responsible for several cases of abductions and killings notable among them were that of Village Head of Keffi, Barrister Chris Agili(legal aide to one of the senators), Mr. Sunday Yahaya among others.
WikkiTimes understands that Abu Ibrahim is among the most wanted kidnapping on authorities watchlist and has a twenty million naira bounty placed on him by the FCT Minister.
