Gombe Police Speaks on Kwami Police Barracks Fire, Denies Loss of Armoury

The Gombe state Police command has spoken on a recent fire outbreak that happened at the Kwami Police Barracks.

In a press statement made available to newsmen on Friday, the Police spokesman, ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar said the fire outbreak in the Barracks only claimed 28 rooms in the Rank and File Building.

This is contrary to claims earlier made in some sections of the country, that the inferno had razed Squadron Armoury in the Police Barracks.

Mahid also added that no casualties were recorded in the incident.
