The House of Representatives has for the second time postponed its commencement of debate on the 2019 Budget proposal.
The 2019 money Bill which was supposed to have its firstallotted day for debate during today’s plenary was stepped down on the requestof the House Leader, Mr.FemiGbajabiamila who explained that members had requested for yet another shift of
date as many of them had just got copies of the Voluminous document and neededtime to study it.Consequently, the Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr.LasunYusuf who presided the sitting announced the postponement of commencement ofdebate on the 2019 budget.
The Deputy Speaker also announced to members who have interestin making contributions to debate on the Bill to register their namespreparatory to the commencement of the consideration of the Money Bill.
The House during the sitting passed six Bills.
