The Special Adviser noted that the decision is part the state government’s commitment towards sanitizing the private schools operations and ensured adherence to established laws and guidelines.

He also charged the proprietors to pay their 10 percent tax to the government for the progress of the sector.

Umar also dispelled the fear among proprietors that his return to the position of managing the private schools would victimize some people.

He, however, averred that he would not hesitate to take appropriate measures against any private school found wanting.
