Motorist kills FRSC official on Bauchi-potiskum road, 4 die in auto crash on Dass road

An FRSC official who was on patrol was reportedly killed along Azare Potiskum road in Bauchi by a motorist who ignored being flag down to stop.

Rilwanu Suleiman, the spokesman of the FRSC in Bauchi confirming the development, told WikkiTimes that “the motorist was flag down to stop, but he ignored our personnel on the road and veered off on their direction until he hits him with his vehicle”.

Rilwanu who said he was not going into details since the command is still investigating the incident also confirmed the death of four persons along Bayara, Dass road in the state.

“Yes, the accident occurred, around Bayara Dass road, it involves a Toyota bus conveying passengers. ” it was as a result of a tyre that burst, that was the cause of the crash.

“Four perons died in a Toyota Sienna with registration ABC-983AH. We could not ascertain the name of the driver and the passengers. It happened at about 2:40pm on Saturday.

“Our operatives took the victims to ATBUTH where they were confirmed dead.

WikkiTimes reports that some of the victims died at the spot while the rest were taken to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, ATBUTH
