The communique further lauded the leadership of the union for the role it played when a member was brutalized by the members of the Rapid Response Squad of the state Police Command.

The meeting ended with an appeal to members, to always uphold professionalism in the discharge of their assignments as unruly behaviour would not be accepted.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the congress meeting was one of the scheduled activities of the Bauchi Council’s 2021 Press Week. (NAN)
