Residents of the commercial Kano city have deserted all major streets following the imposition of a 24-hour curfew on the state.
The curfew is an aftermath of the verdict of the Kano State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which sacked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of NNPP and declared Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of APC winner.
