Amidst controversies over the reported death of notorious bandits leader Dogo Gide, the management of Relance Specialists Hospital Sokoto has denied death of the terror kingpin in their facility.
It would be recalled that , there were reports concerning the death of Dogo Gide.
Reports noted that he died while receiving treatment at Relance Specialist Hospital in Sokoto, aided by a security personnel.
However, in a statement,the hospital described the reports as rumor, noting that it has no record of receiving any patient by name Dogo Gide nor does it accommodate any person of questionable character.
“It has been brought to our notice that rumour have gone viral circulating on social media and other public places that one bandits leader in the name of Dogo Gide died in our facility”.
“This viral rumor is untrue and baseless, the hospital has never accommodated any questionable person especially those connected to terrorism banditry or any criminal offence”.
“We urge the general public to disregard this information and desist from further spreading false in formation”, it said.
The hospital management commended the efforts of security agencies in tackling the scourge of banditry ravaging the region, while calling on its staff, clients and the general public to remain calm as noting capable of undermining their safety happened in the hospital.
“While we urge both our staff and clients to remain calm. The management is doing all it best to bring the perpetrators of this rumour mongering to book”, it warned.
