One thousand six hundred local government staff in Bauchi state is expected to write their promotion examination next month.
The Chairman local Service commission Alhaji aminu Ahmad disclosed this at a sensitization workshop organized for the affected local government staff held at the multipurpose indoor sport hall Bauchi.
Alhaji Aminu Ahmad said those expected to write the promotion examination are from grade levels eight and above.
He explained that the promotion examination was to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the local government administration calling on them to desist from examination malpractice.
On his part the Director Training in the commission Ahmad Abdullahi Madara said the aim of the workshop was to acquaint the staff about the rules for the promotion examination.
Ahmad Abdullahi Madara urged the participants to pay attention to the facilitators in order to achieve success.
In a remark the State Acting Head of Service Alhaji Abubakar Ma’aji reaffirmed government commitment in the area of capacity building for workers.
