One thousand six hundred local government staffin Bauchi state is expected to write their promotion examination next month.
The Chairman local Service commission Alhajiaminu Ahmad disclosed this at a sensitization workshop organized for theaffected local government staff held at the multipurpose indoor sport hallBauchi.
Alhaji Aminu Ahmad said those expected to writethe promotion examination are from grade levels eight and above.
He explained that the promotion examination wasto ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the local government administration callingon them to desist from examination malpractice.
On his part the Director Training in the commission Ahmad Abdullahi Madara said the aim of the workshop was to acquaint the staff about the rules for the promotion examination.
Ahmad Abdullahi Madara urged the participantsto pay attention to the facilitators in order to achieve success.
In a remark the State Acting Head of Service Alhaji Abubakar Ma’aji reaffirmed government commitment in the area of capacity building for workers.
