2 AK-47 Rifles, N4.5m Recovered From Kidnappers’ Den in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Auwal Muhammad, said 2 AK 47 rifles, 55 live ammunitions and N4,580,000 were recovered from kidnappers’ den in the Ninigi Local Government Area of the state.

In a video obtained by WikkiTimes from the Africa Independent Television (AIT)’s X handle, Muhammad said, “2 AK 47 rifles, 55 live ammunitions, four empty magazines and N4,580,000 were recovered from kidnappers’ den in Ninigi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.”

The development followed a gun duel engaged between the police team of detectives in conjunction with quasi-security outfits, led by Ahmed Ali Kwara, on December 26.

The commissioner added, “The unrelenting and aggressive counter-kidnapping strategies of the command have continued to yield positive results as operative of the command and other security recorded yet another harvest of criminal elements. During this organised, courageous operation, the command was able to pull apart kidnappers, bandits, syndicates, due to the intense superior fire power by the police.

Meanwhile, six suspected kidnappers were been killed by the state command in Ninigi Local Government Area.

The development followed a gun duel engaged between the police team of detectives in conjunction with quasi-security outfits, led by Ahmed Ali Kwara, on December 26, 2023, at about 0403 hrs.

Auwal Musa said that it is important because we all need a violence-free society to triumph in all our various endeavours.
