Khadi Abdullahi Yakubu Marafa, Chairman of the local organizing committee of the National Qur’anic Recitation Competition currently taking place in Bauchi has said that 40 participants from 36 states of the federation compete for prizes at the event.
The Chairman said no complaint was registered since the commencement of the competition about seven days ago, something he ascribed to the holistic and careful attention to details of the previous events.
Khadi Marafa stated this when received the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu at the venue of the competition in Bauchi.
He said that all the necessary arrangements for hitch-free occasion have been put in place.
